The National Youth Worker’s Convention |

So I am headed out in less than a week for the National Youth Workers Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio (October 29th – November 2nd). This is my first year to not attend the conference as a youth pastor in a local church – which will be a little weird, but also a little refreshing. I am instead attending as an Exhibitor for The Gate Annual Youth Conference. Several people have been working hard the past few months to put together an awesome display that will hopefully draw people in to check us out, ask some questions, and maybe even sign up for THE GATE 2010 in Charleston, WV.
So we are going to kick back – challenge strangers at Nintendo Wii Resort, shoot finger rockets at them, and bribe them into watching The Gate Promo Video with irresistible candies and stimulating conversation. All in all it should be an awesome few days – hopefully we will return to Tennessee with new friends who desire to “Get Wrecked” by the Holy Spirit at THE GATE! Holla.

What’s up everyone! I know it’s only October but planning for THE GATE 2010 is in full swing. In just a few weeks the Core Leadership of THE GATE will gather in Goodlettsville, TN for a retreat weekend of prayer, visioning and planning for this year’s Gate and what is to come in the future!
So far we have some awesome speaker’s lined up for 2010 – check them out on www.gateyouth.org under speakers.
We also have set up a facebook page just for The Gate Youth Conference – look us up and join in the discussion. This is a great place for you to chat with other “Gate” lover’s as well as give us your ideas and thoughts about equipping sessions and other awesome things for the GATE 2010! We want to hear from you!
